Flying the Flag
The Protocol
The National Flag of Ireland, commonly known as the tricolour, is made up of green, white, and orange colours. It became the flag of the Irish Free State in 1922 and was officially recognised as the National Flag in the 1937 Constitution.

The flag is intended to represent the unity and inclusion of people from different backgrounds and is a symbol of the entitlement of every person born on the island of Ireland to be part of the Irish nation, regardless of their ethnicity, religion, or political beliefs.
